GLASS BEADS

Beautiful and unique handmade glass beads! Every bead is crafted individually by Karen using traditional lampworking techniques.

Each bead is individually (and carefully!) made in a very hot flame and is then directly placed in a kiln to slowly cool for several hours for durability.

I use a 1.6mm mandrel to make the bead hole. When finished the bead holes are just a little under 2mm.

My beads are photographed inside in natural light, I don't adjust the photo colour or light in any-way. Glass is a little tricky to photograph, some transparent colours look darker or lighter in the photograph than in reality - if this is the case, I have made a note in the description :D
